Farm Stands & CSA Pickup

Time to plant!! Now that we got through the cold snap last week ❄️ (oh, spring in Colorado with your 60-degree temperature swings!) and irrigation is turned on 💦 at both farms, we’re planting our cool season crops in earnest! Lots of alliums Welcome to our seasonal farm crew members, apprentices, and interns! 🌈 This week we are setting aside time for our whole team —farmers from both DGS and MAP, plus “Outfielders” (who don’t work in the field as often, includin They sat watching the incubator window for weeks in 2nd grade. Now in 3rd grade, they’re the ones filling feeders, checking water and collecting eggs. Growing up right alongside their flock! 💐 We're so excited about our new 12-week flower share that we are offering at DGS, featuring organically grown bouquets diverse selection of beautiful, seasonal blooms. Some weeks will also include creative surprises like dried flowers, flower crown Partner Spotlight: Scraps A huge thank you to our friends at Scraps for their generous donation of 15 yards of compost to the Denver Green School Community Farm 🌱 @scraps.mile.high is a locally owned compost company who turns food waste into nutri Mark your calendars for the best night of the year! Join Sprout City Farms on August 29th, 2026 for our annual farm-to-table fundraising event. The night will feature: 🌻 Farm-fresh 5-course meal with drink pairings 🌻 Farm tours 🌻 Silent auct Meet Sprout City Farms' Assistant Farm Managers 👩‍🌾 We welcome back Dóra Wall for her second season at Denver Green School Community Farm and welcome to the team Brie Oakley as the new Assistant Manager at Mountair Park Community Farm!
