The DGS Farm Stand is a weekly community market run by Sprout City Farms at the Denver Green School on Niagara Street. It is open to everyone and operates on a unique "by suggested donation" pricing model for vegetables, making fresh food accessible to all community members!

Friday Volunteering at MAP
Join us at Mountair Park Community Farm to volunteer during our work day weekly on Fridays! Not only will you be contributing to your local community, you can learn about growing your own food and take home some fresh vegetables during our harvest season!
Come between 10am-12pm on Fridays; 9:30am-11:30am on Saturdays. Bring appropriate clothing (layers, gloves), sun protection (hat, long sleeves/sunblock), sturdy shoes (no flip flops), water bottle, and snacks as needed.

Community Day
It’s our 13th annual Community Day. We will be celebrating in style with lots of fun, food and community service. We are looking for all of our DGS families to come out and support us for this amazing day. Start your day off by pitching in to help beautify the campus, volunteer at the farm and garden, and stay for lots of family fun activities and delicious treats.
Agenda for Community Day:
9:00-11:00: Beautify the campus or volunteer at the farm - multiple volunteer opportunities to help give our campus some tender love and care.
11:00-2:00: Family Fun- Games, Activities, Silent Auction, Food, Treats, Farm Fun
1:30-2:00: Community BINGO

Leaf Drive at DGS
Note: We encourage you to leave the leaves where they fell to enrich your soil, contribute nutrients for plant health, and be a winter home for beneficial insects and pollinators!
BUT, if you are raking and bagging leaves, we will gladly take them at the Denver Green School Community Farm to use for mulching our fields and adding to our compost piles!
Please drop bagged leaves (paper bags preferred) inside the garden gate on Niagara Street, near the SW corner of the school building. Thank you!
