Individual and Group Volunteering
Volunteering gives community members the opportunity to work alongside our farmers and gain valuable skills related to growing food in a community setting.
Volunteers—be they experienced gardeners or those looking to learn more about farming and SCF programs—are encouraged to attend. All ages are welcome!

Group Volunteering
Groups from schools, summer camps, and offices are always welcome at Sprout City Farms. Spending a morning working and learning together offers valuable team building experience while making a difference in the community. We can typically accommodate group sizes of up to 25 people for 2-3 hours for a suggested donation of $10/person.
To request and schedule a group volunteer event, please fill out a request for the farm you would like to visit.

Additional Volunteer Opportunities
If you’re interested in more than the volunteer opportunities in the field, we always have opportunities for people who want to help grow our organization. We are currently most in need of the following skill sets and/or experience:
Spanish translations
Media and marketing
Event planning & tabling
Fundraising
Community leaders to participate on the Community Advisory Committees
Demonstration cooks – help showcase the weekly harvest.
