We believe supporting those most in need is vital to meeting the health and food security needs of the communities in which we work. It’s not a charitable aspect of our organization, it is our organization. It’s why we do what we do! To ensure that our food is equitably distributed, Sprout City Farms:

  • donates 10%-20% of our harvest to local food assistance programs;

  • allocates 50% of our CSA memberships to food access through no-cost shares, plus half-price SNAP shares thanks to the Double Up Food Bucks program (applications below);

  • supplies local high-need school cafeterias;

  • and distributes produce through neighborhood farm stands using "suggested donation” prices.

    All in all, over half (55%) of our harvest is dedicated to all of our diverse food access programs.
