Our farms rely on community leaf drop-off for field winterization. Leaves cover the soil to protect it from harsh sun and wind all winter long, as well as add organic matter that helps us maintain and build soil health. We're hoping to collect 1,000–2,000 bags of leaves at each farm site. See below for drop-off details at Denver Green School and Mountair Park. Please help us spread the word!

Please bring leaves only — no pine needles, trash, potted plants, or misc. compost.

Denver Green School Community Farm

Denver Green School is located at 6700 E. Virginia Ave. Denver 80224. Bags can be dropped at the farm gate facing the playground (the gate near the hoophouse, closer to the school building)--if you come on the weekend, you can carefully drive across the playground to place them inside the gate.

Mountair Park Community Farm

Mountair Park Community Farm is located at the corner of 13th and Depew St. Lakewood 80214. Follow the yellow signs for the exact leaf drop location.
