Sprout City Farms’ Groundbreaking Ceremony at Jack’s Solar Garden!

Join Sprout City Farms community, partners, staff and board as we prepare the field for planting at Jack’s Solar Garden in Longmont! We'll be hosting a groundbreaking ceremony on Saturday, April 24th with fun activities (socially distanced, of course) out in the field. Everyone is welcome to come celebrate with us and put a golden shovel in the ground! :)

Event starts at 10am with farm tours & activities. Groundbreaking ceremony at 11am with a few commemorative speeches. Activities & tours continue until 12pm.

Activities include:

  • Painting signs for our rows of veggies

  • Seed starting

  • Helping prep the field for our first planting

  • Farm tours

  • Info tables to learn more about our research partners & projects
